Roy Jenkins is a motocross racing chaplain, PA announcer, journalist and author in south Louisiana and Mississippi. His son Kyle Jenkins took many of the pictures before joining the marines. Both are former racers. His articles have appeared in motorcycle magazines, newspapers and books. He has written 2 books, "Devotions for Racers" and "Racing Fuel for the Spirit." G2G Camp, May 30, 2008 : "Gory to God" Camp is a non-profit, Bible based, Christian camp designed for kids age 8-18 years who love motocross. HSMX Hare Scramble : This 6 hour race was held at "The Pit" in Darrow, LA just down river from Baton Rouge. The High School Motocross Team was raising fuel money to go to the National Amateur Championship in Ponca City, OK. The race was delayed for an hour due to lightning, but racers and crews pushed through the persistent rain.
